Our Story

Before There Was a Brand, There Was a Ministry.

This story didn’t begin with a clothing brand. It began with ministry.

In 2018, my husband and I wanted to produce T-shirts for our ministry. After visiting a print shop, the Lord impressed something on my heart: that would be the first and last time I paid someone else to produce our shirts. From that point forward, I would do it myself.

I knew almost nothing about producing T-shirts, but God was building something far beyond what I could comprehend.

In 2020, He gave me the name Preparing The Way Streetwear. The vision was simple: create clothing that proclaimed the Gospel and carried testimonies that pointed people to Jesus.

But I didn’t realize God was preparing more than a brand.

He was preparing me.

Shortly after starting the brand, I entered one of the darkest seasons of my life. I became entangled in rebellion, sin, the occult, and things God had already delivered me from. I stopped praying. I stopped seeking Him. I ran from God until I no longer recognized myself.

Then, in 2023, during one of the most painful seasons of my life, I cried out:

“Lord, save me from me.”

And He did.

Through suffering, surrender, prayer, and restoration, God began rebuilding what rebellion had torn apart.

Prayer produced power.
And heaven unleashed that power into my life.

Eventually, I understood that Preparing The Way wasn’t only about preparing the way for someone else.

God was preparing my way back to Him.

The brand has now been renewed, refined, and given a new identity:
